Stage Design process of work

When preparing the design we use various approaches and software to come to an ideal appearance of the presentation which is able to present the given design sufficiently and with all possibilities for its use. Besides the draft design it is also possible to create technical and manufacturing drawings and provide supervision over the implementation. We can also deliver only some of these parts if the client wishes so. All materials are described in English as a standard but if required, they can also be described in Czech or Polish. The design preparation time depends on the scope of the project. The longest time is usually given to engineering plans, detailed specification of technical plans for production and all technical elements. The creative part of the design idea is usually completed within days, including processing of basic plans and visualizations. The design process consists of several parts:

DESIGN STUDY
DRAWING UP OF TECHNICAL AND ENGINEERING PLANS
CONSTUCTION SUPERVISION

DESIGN STUDY

The design is prepared in such a form that it sufficiently presents the visual look of the stage and its functionality, defines the dimensions and shows its technical design. For the stages where additional functionality description is called for we create a simulation in the form of moving parts or a short video preview with music in the Wysiwyg software where the client can see the design implementation, including lights and LED screens and can thus get a better idea of the possibilities and utilization of the stage. The video preview in Wysiwyg can also be made in order to promote a concert or a given event upon client’s request. This process gives a framework definition of the amount of technologies used and of the production volume. The provided data can give you a preliminary idea of the costs.

Design idea, creative design, idea.
3D model and shaping of the idea into an implementable functional form.
Basic plans that give an idea of the dimensions or functionality.
Visualization or video preview from Wysiwyg.
Submission of copyright to the design.

ENGINEERING PLANS

Engineering, creation, technical drawings required for the implementation of the event and exact definition of technologies. Preparation of drawings defining the equipment used, such as the stage, suspension points, structure for the lights, video screens and their location on the stage. Preparation of construction design details, engineering plans required for the production of special components and decorations, including data for CNC machines. Plans for the positioning of the stage in the hall and definition of view of the stage from different places. Discussing technical designs with all parties involved in the project and projecting all modifications and requests into the drawings. We draw up all plans primarily in English. They are in conformity with international standards and can be quoted both in metric system or its Anglo-American counterpart.

CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION

Technical supervision over the abidance by technical drawings by assistant designer, during preparation, manufacture of decorations and subsequent implementation in place of the event or rehearsal.

ART SUPERVISION OVER ALL PROJECT

Supervision of the overall implementation including supervision over the LED content design and light design. Eventuall cooperation in the production of videos and Show design itself.
